Dual-Use & Parking-in-the-Pond Concepts

The best way to deal with stormwater runoff, is to catch it before it runs off.

Stormwater runoff is a big problem today. All states, counties and municipalities are looking for ways to address the problem. Asphalt Pavements are not a solution - they are part of the problem. Pervious concrete, in conjunction with the Dual-Use System, offers a better solution.

Using the Dual-Use System can reduce site-development costs by more than half.

The Dual-Use system, (Parking-in-the-Pond) concept, offers a means of stopping runoff at the source. It is the only system available that can completely eliminate stormwater runoff from parking lots. Check out our new FAQ Section and LEED Section for easy access to design and construction information on this system.

This site is designed to be used by Stormwater Managers, Civil Engineers, Contractors and Developers as a guide to help design, and construct, pervious concrete pavements as an integral part of on-site stormwater management systems. The basic system design follows the guidelines as depicted in the NIBS Federal Green Construction Guide & the EPA Porous Pavements.

It is our intent to make this site user-friendly. There are many "links" to other websites and we try to maintain the integrity of those links. However, some links may be down for a short time. Please report any down-links you may find, or suggestions you would like to make. Contact: Don Wade.
