Dual-Use & Parking-in-the-Pond Concept
Stormwater-runoff
is a big problem today. All states, counties and municipalities are
looking for ways to address the problem. Pervious concrete, in
conjunction with the Dual-Use System, offers a viable, cost-effective solution.
The Dual-Use system,
(Parking-in-the-Pond) concept, offers a means of stopping
runoff at the source. Check out our new FAQ Section and
LEED Section for
easy access to design and construction information on this system.
This site is designed to be used by Stormwater Managers, Civil
Engineers, Contractors and Developers as a guide to help design, and
construct, pervious concrete pavements as an integral part of
on-site stormwater management systems. The basic system design follows
the guidelines as depicted in the NIBS
Federal Green Construction Guide, the EPA
Porous Pavements and the new
Florida Statewide Stormwater Rule.
